Injectable Fillers
What are Injectable Fillers?
Injectable fillers are a minimally invasive treatment designed to restore lost facial volume, smooth out wrinkles, and enhance facial contours for a refreshed, natural look. This quick, in-office procedure helps you achieve subtle, yet noticeable improvements without the need for surgery.
Juvéderm™
Juvéderm™ is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your healthcare professional eases Juvéderm™ injectable gel under the skin to provide a smooth, natural look and feel—so everyone will notice (but no one will know)!
Juvéderm™ injectable gel is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is proven to be safe and effective for persons of color. Recently approved by the FDA, Juvéderm™ injectable is primarily used for finer wrinkles.

Restylane®
Restylane® is the first cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Approved by the FDA, Restylane® is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane® is able to perform for many months in your skin.

The most common areas for a Restylane® treatment are
-
the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows);
-
the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth);
-
and when used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane® will add shape and volume to the area.
Restylane® is able to create volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out. The hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide moisture and fullness to the skin. The average treatment results may last approximately 6 months or even longer.
