Juvéderm™ injectable gel is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is proven to be safe and effective for persons of color. Recently approved by the FDA, Juvéderm™ injectable is primarily used for finer wrinkles.

Restylane®

Restylane® is the first cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Approved by the FDA, Restylane® is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane® is able to perform for many months in your skin.

 

The most common areas for a Restylane® treatment are

  • the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows);

  • the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth);

  • and when used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane® will add shape and volume to the area.

 

Restylane® is able to create volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out. The hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide moisture and fullness to the skin. The average treatment results may last approximately 6 months or even longer.
